Newman Club of City College
As we navigate college life, Christ is our foundation and our goal. The CCNY Newman Club is the club for keeping that focus and learning more about our faith. Throughout the semester, the club sponsors events where you can meet other Catholic students, interact with local religious orders, and receive guidance from the local parish priest. As a club, we strive to grow together in our Catholic faith and in the virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
Mass
Wednesdays at 12:30pm
Held at Annunciation Church during school semesters. Confessions are available before mass in front of the chapel or ask in the rectory for an available priest.
Hotbread
Thursdays at 12:15pm
We meditate and reflect on the upcoming Sunday’s Mass Readings and Gospel. Location for Hotbread is always updated in Whatsapp.
Charitable Service
Fridays from 8-11am
We work at the Missionaries of Charity Soup Kitchen. Tasks includes setting up tables and chairs, preparing food, cleaning the kitchen and room after service is done. After volunteering, we have Mental Scripture Memorization while eating brunch.
