Our Goal: Making Professional Catholics

The Catholic Center at NYU is home to the campus ministry of the Archdiocese of New York. The ministry supports Catholic students in their academic and career goals while also helping them grow in their Catholic faith and foster a relationship with Jesus Christ.

How We Do This

The Catholic Center at NYU supports the university and college students in New York City, especially at New York University.

The Dominican directors and chaplains of the center provide Mass and confession throughout the week, time for spiritual direction, and support for the various Catholic student clubs in New York City.

Along with this, the Catholic Center works to connect Catholic students with Catholic professionals in their field of study through events for specific areas of professional interest, such as business or the arts. To do this, the center works with Catholic professionals in New York City who desire to offer their wisdom and expertise to help college students in both their career and Catholic faith.

The Catholic Center also offers a physical space for events, meetings, recreation, and personal study. We welcome all undergraduate and graduate students who are members of Catholic student clubs to use the Catholic Center space for their study and recreation.
