Mentorship Program

At the heart of NYU's vibrant Catholic community lies our commitment to forming students who seamlessly weave together intellectual rigor, professional excellence, and deep spiritual conviction. The Catholic Center at NYU’s Mentorship Program creates transformative relationships between accomplished Catholic professionals and NYU and other NYC university undergraduate students who are discovering how to live authentically Catholic lives in the heart of New York City.

In a city where ambition and achievement often overshadow deeper purpose, our program offers something distinctive: mentorship grounded in the rich tradition of Catholic social teaching and sustained by genuine community. Our mentors—young professionals across diverse industries from Wall Street to nonprofit organizations—share not just career insights but their practical wisdom of integrating faith with professional calling in one of the world's most demanding environments.

This program reflects our unique position as a Catholic community within a global university in an extraordinary city. We prepare students not merely for career success, but to become thoughtful Catholics who can navigate complex professional and ethical landscapes while remaining rooted in their faith and committed to serving others, especially those most in need. Through these mentoring relationships, we strengthen the bonds of our Catholic community while empowering the next generation to be lights of Christ in whatever field they enter.
