We are 100% donor-funded, so we rely on your charitable donations to make this work possible! We form students at a pivotal moment in their lives. The Catholic Center at NYU forms Catholic leaders who will shape culture, commerce, public life, and the Church for decades to come. Students arrive with ambition and talent—but often without a spiritual foundation capable of sustaining them in a complex and morally challenging world.

We receive no monies from NYU, nor from any other institutional source. We receive no monies from the Archdiocese of New York.
We are raising money to support the tremendous growth we are experiencing. The Catholic Center at NYU is the center for Catholic university life for students in New York City. We serve more than 165,000 students at 21 colleges/universities, including NYU and Juilliard.
We need to fundraise for our entire budget, which is $650,000/year. To give a sense of comparable campus ministry budgets: an East Coast Catholic college campus ministry’s annual budget is $1.7M, LSU’s is $1.8M, the University of Southern California’s is $3M.
We are raising $12M for an endowment.
We are raising $4M for a complete interior renovation of our space—the entire ground floor of The Catholic Center at NYU, right on Washington Square Park South.

Our goal is to raise $4M by April 1, 2026. We need to raise monies to pay our annual budget until we establish the endowment. The goal is to have the $12M endowment funded by September, 2028.
All monies are deposited with The Catholic Center in NYC Foundation, which is a newly established independent 501c3. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to support the Dominican friars in our work at The Catholic Center at NYU. Donations do not go to the local parish church, nor do any monies go to the Archdiocese of New York.
