The John Jay Newman Club exists to be a vibrant and welcoming center for Catholic university life, offering students a supportive community rooted in faith, fellowship, and service. The club provides a space where students can grow spiritually through prayer, discussion, and reflection, while also forming meaningful friendships and finding guidance during their academic journey. Open to all students, the Newman Club at John Jay encourages personal growth, leadership, and compassionate action, helping members integrate their faith with campus life and engage thoughtfully with the world around them. The Catholic Center at NYU serves as the Catholic chaplains to John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
