The Origin of Everything – Big Bangs & Beginnings: Faith In The Cosmos

Where do we, life, our planet, and the whole Universe come from? The past 200 years have presented a staggering number of scientific discoveries on our origins, and on the origins of the cosmos we reside in starting with the Big Bang. Yet, some of these discoveries are proposed to contradict Catholic teachings of Divine creation and providence. In this talk we will explore the cosmic origins story presented by the scientific project and how they relate to several theological ideas at the core of Christianity.
